London's Adaadat are notoriously famed for their mutilated approach to dark, twisted and generally mashed up electronica. This new collaboration between Bruno & Michel Are Smiling (Oliver Bulas) and Skipperrr (Charlotte Arnhold) fits into the label's skewed aesthetic perfectly. The three tracks included on this slaughterous 7" are an intoxicating mix of brutal, battered beats and white noise. The duo compose disgusting but addictive songs of squelching synths and screaming vocals. This is "post-post-punk" with sheer f*cked-up randomness is performed with elements of disturbed gabba, warped drum & bass, distorted noise and surreal Gameboy sound effects. This is music for those who like their music rough and sleazy as it can be. Not for the faint-hearted, it's recommended to pick up a pair of earplugs before purchase. (www.Angryape.com)

Stupid record of the week (music for numptys pt. 1) appears to be a possible split 7" between Bruno & Michel Are Smiling . The first side provides unhinged space invader electro-jungle pop from hell. Yes. This is truly music for numptys, a rare breed of gurning wild-eyed loon who delight in making grannies shit themselves. This is the scummy side to Dat Politics gleeful pop mayhem. Side 2 sounds like an utterly corrupt Chicks On Speed being eaten by Meccashitmat. Joyful gibbering insanity on Adaadat . Get wise to the noise. (Normanrecords)

'The beach of ruined spirits' see's Hamburg's chipcore noise duo BRUNO
& MICHEL ARE SMILING aka Oliver Bulas, and SKIPPERRR aka Charlotte
Arnhold unleash's the dual vocal attack. Inspired by modern classical
music, socialist theory, Japanese Noise music & early DHR music. BRUNO
& MICHEL'S music is a bewildering mix of gabba, noise, gameboyesque
melodies and screaming, sharing a similar musical aesthetic to
grind/noise bands.

Dressed to impress, the chipcore duo of Oliver Bulas and Charlotte
Arnhold are the latest addition to ADAADAT's ear-ache roster - with
their alter-ego Bruno & Michel Are Smiling + Skippper whipping up a
proper Nintendo's Inferno for your cochlea's pleasure. Although popped
from a similar mould to many Wrong Music alumni, 'The Beach Of Ruined
Spirits' shares a greater affinity with the likes of Romvelope and
Germlin than it does the ADD clown routine of Brighton's noise-mongers
- as each bout of machine-mentalism is juxtaposed with some very human
emotion. Opening with the title track, 'The Beach Of Ruined Spirits'
sounds like a Germanic girl band being put through a high-speed dubbing
unit whilst the low-end is machine-gunned by AWOL beats and Space
Invaders refugees. In other words, it's one heck of a noise. Similarly,
the back holds the twin treats of 'How Do You Want To Pay For A Weekend
Of Truth On The Countryside?' and 'The Great Millipede' - wherein a
casket of fizzing electronics are lobbed wantonly down a deep well...
